This Privacy Notice explains how Finally Wedding ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use My Wedding Budget (the "Service"). Finally Wedding is the data controller for personal data described below.
1. Personal data we collect
- Account data — email address, login credentials, and any name you provide.
- Profile & planning data — partner name, wedding date, budget figures, vendors, transactions and other content you enter into the Service.
- Support data — messages you send us.
- Usage & technical data — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, timestamps and similar telemetry, used for security and to improve the Service.
Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record (see below). We do not see or store your full card number.
2. Why we use your data (purposes & legal basis)
- To create and operate your account and provide the Service — performance of a contract.
- To process purchases and unlock paid features — performance of a contract.
- To protect the Service against fraud, abuse and security threats — legitimate interests.
- To respond to support requests — performance of a contract and legitimate interests.
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting records) — legal obligation.
- To send service announcements; marketing only where you have opted in — consent or legitimate interests.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication and analytics providers we use to run the Service.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record for sales of the Signature plan, including payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.
4. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside your country (for example to providers based in the EEA, UK, or US), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions where required.
5. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and isolated database access — to protect your personal data.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar local-storage technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the Service.
