You said yes. Then someone asked,
"so what's the budget?"

Real budgets

built for your wedding, not averages

Right now, planning probably looks like this

  • You open a blog post promising "the average wedding costs X" and close it more confused than before.
  • You start a spreadsheet, abandon the spreadsheet, start a Pinterest board instead.
  • Family members throw out numbers — venue should be this, photographer should be that — and none of it adds up to anything you can actually use.
  • You and your partner keep saying "we should sit down and talk about money" and keep not doing it, because where do you even start?

The problem isn't that weddings are expensive. The problem is that you don't have a clear picture of where the money goes — so every decision feels like a guess.

The average couple overspends by €3,200. Signature costs €19. Once.

Every vendor, every quote, every deposit — in one place.

Why it works

Most couples don't have a money problem. They have a problem.

Wedding planning falls apart at the same place every time: the moment you have to translate "how much do we want to spend?" into "how much for the venue, the photographer, the dress, the flowers, the cake, the rings?" Nobody teaches you that math. So you stall.

The fix isn't another 60-tab spreadsheet or a $19/month app. It's a single page that does three small things really well.

One number, instantly split

Industry-average percentages turn your total into ten realistic line items in a second. No blank cells staring back at you.

Anchored to your reality

Your city and guest count adjust the numbers to what weddings actually cost where you are — not a US national average from 2018.

Built to be edited

Every percentage is yours to change. As real quotes come in, you update one cell and the whole picture stays honest.

The shift you'll feel

Before: every vendor email feels like a trap because you don't know what "reasonable" looks like. After: you open the email, glance at the line item, and know in two seconds whether to say yes, negotiate, or walk.

In about two minutes, you'll have

  • A clear, written budget the two of you actually agree on
  • An honest answer when the venue asks about your range
  • A cost-per-guest number to sanity-check your guest list
  • A reason to stop arguing about flowers vs. photography
  • A CSV you can share with whoever's helping pay

Why I built this

I watched a friend lose track of €4,000 in three months of planning.

She had a budget. She had good intentions. But the money was spread across three bank accounts, two family contributions, and a folder of vendor emails she kept meaning to organize. By the time the venue asked for the final payment, she had no idea what she had left.

I built My Wedding Budget because no tool existed for exactly that moment — when the planning gets real and the spreadsheet stops working. It started as a free tool. Signature exists because real planning needs more than a breakdown. It needs a system.
